WHAT WE DO
Five services. One job: keep your people and your business compliant.
Every service below is delivered directly by CRG. Not subcontracted, not templated, not farmed out to someone who's never set foot on a working farm or site. If it has our name on it, one of us did it.
Comprehensive H&S Audits and Site Inspections
Premises audits
Construction sites
Action plans
A health and safety audit helps your business spot risks early, stay legally compliant and protect your team. We carry out independent, methodical inspections of farms, estates, construction sites and commercial premises and at the end, you get a plain-English report that tells you exactly where you stand. What's compliant, what needs attention, and what needs fixing today. No vague recommendations, no 40-page filler document.
WHAT IT COVERS
A physical walkthrough of your site… we don't do desktop audits
Review of existing documentation, records and safe systems of work
Farm and estate audits covering machinery, livestock handling and agrichemical storage
A prioritised action list. Immediate, short-term and ongoing
Full report stored in your CRG client portal
Regular audits are a mark of a well-run business. Insurers, principal contractors and clients increasingly expect to see evidence that you take safety seriously. A CRG audit gives you that evidence.
Risk Assessments and Policy Reviews
General Workplace
Manual Handing
COSHH
RAMS
Risk assessments and policy reviews exist to keep your business safe, compliant and running smoothly. We write them for your operation, not from a template, and we review them when your business changes or legislation moves on. Every document is written in plain English and kept up to date, so you're never caught out when someone asks for it.
WHAT IT COVERS
General workplace risk assessments covering day-to-day hazards
Manual handling, COSHH and activity-specific assessments
Health and safety policies. Written for your business, not the internet
RAMS and method statements for construction and project work
Review of existing policies against current legislation
If you employ five or more people, you must have a written health and safety policy. If yours doesn't reflect how your business actually operates, it's a liability rather than a protection.
Fire Risk Assessments
Commercial Premises
Action Plans
Farm Buildings
Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement, and we make sure yours is thorough, site-specific and ready for inspection. We assess fire hazards, check whether current precautions are effective, and make sure there are clear procedures in place if a fire does occur — covering commercial premises, farm buildings, estate properties and rural business premises.
WHAT IT COVERS
Fire risk assessments for all business premises and rural properties
Review of fire detection, suppression and escape procedures
Fire safety action plans with clear, prioritised next steps
FRA stored in your CRG client portal and updated when your premises change
Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Any person responsible for a business premises must ensure an FRA is in place and that fire safety measures are maintained.
Asbestos Surveys and Management
Management surveys
Management plans
Refurbishment surveys
Asbestos remains the single biggest cause of work-related deaths in the UK. If your property was built before 2000, there's a reasonable chance it contains asbestos-containing materials, and as the owner or manager, you have a legal duty to identify and manage them. We carry out management and refurbishment surveys and put in place a clear asbestos management plan, so you know exactly what's there and what to do about it.
WHAT IT COVERS
Management surveys to identify asbestos-containing materials in your property
Refurbishment and demolition surveys before building work begins
Asbestos management plans setting out monitoring, maintenance and responsibilities
Clear, plain-English reports and documentation stored in your client portal
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 places a duty to manage asbestos on anyone responsible for a non-domestic property. Failing to identify and manage asbestos is a criminal offence.
