First Aid Courses   

Emergency First Aid (1 Day) - Great for low risk / small workplaces and larger ones wanting additional back up. It is a popular course for those looking for community peace of mind. The course is HSE compliant and each delegate will receive a certificate valid for three years (Trauma/forestry can be added to this)

The course includes but not limited to:

  • Emergency actions

  • Child, baby & adult basic life support (CPR)

  • How to use a defib (AED)

  • Head, neck and back injuries

  • Unconscious & recovery position

  • Bleeding & burns

  • Injuries to the bones, muscles & joints

  • Seizures/fitting

  • First Aider responsibilities

Foundation First Aid (4 hours) - A shorter course for those with limited time or just needing an overview of first aid. The Foundation course is a great refresher and good boost for First Aider confidence, whilst also adding additional cover to assist workplace first aiders who are already trained. Each delegate will receive a certificate valid for three years

The course includes but is not limited to:

  • Emergency actions

  • Child, baby & adult basic life support (CPR)

  • How to use a defib (AED)

  • Unconscious & recovery position

  • Bleeding & burns

Action for Anaphylaxis (3 hours) - This 3 hour workshop is great for those who are in an environment where they need to be prepared for anaphylactic emergencies, this can also bee added on to the 1 day EFA course. The course is UK Resuscitation Council Compliant and each delegate will receive a certificate valid for three years. 

The course will cover:

  • Recognising anaphylaxis

  • Using Adrenaline Auto- Injectors (AAI’s) including EpiPens, Jext and Emerades.

  • Emergency actions

  • Child, baby & adult Basic Life Support (CPR)

  • Child, baby & adult choking

  • How to use a defib (AED)

Essential Life Support Training (2.5 hours) - This is a mini first aid course covers the essential of what to do if someone is not breathing and is fantastic for those wanting to know the essentials of what to do in an emergency. The course is UK Resuscitation Council Compliant and each delegate will received a certificate valid for three years. 

The course includes but is not limited to:

  • Emergency actions

  • Child, baby & adult essential life support (CPR)

  • Child, baby & adult choking

  • How to use a defib (AED)
